Lindsey Hanscome Liindsey Hanscome holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in Art History from UCLA and a Masters in Education from National University. In high school, she was a member of the award winning Woodbridge High School Dance Team, receiving such titles as Miss USA Nationals 1997, Miss Dance Drill Team California 1998 and 4th Runner up to Miss Dance Drill Team United States 1998. Lindsey then attended UCLA where she took part in a dance scholarship program at the Dance Center, formerly known as Tremaine’s Studio of Dance. She studied with teachers such as Dee Caspary, Mandy Moore, Sal Vassallo, Doug Caldwell, Desiree Robbins, Joelle Martinec, Scott Hislop and Malaya Ho. While in college, Lindsey danced professionally in Los Angeles as a member of the UCLA Dance Team. She choreographed competition routines for both on campus venues and off campus venues. She appeared on Fox Sports Television shows, danced for Disneyland and was a featured dancer in the Choreographers Ball in Los Angeles. After college she then began coaching the Woodbridge High School Dance Team. While coaching, her team was awarded 1st Place for their “Small Lyrical” dance in the USA National Competition. This is one of the highest awards that a dance team can obtain. Lindsey has choreographed for several high school dance teams in Southern California including Woodbridge High School, Claremont High School, Beckman High School and Chino Hills High School. She is also a teacher at South Coast Performing Arts based out of Tustin, the United Spirit Association and Temecula Dance Company. While coaching and teaching, Lindsey formed a company based out of Orange County by the name of Dance Dimensions and directed the company for two years. In addition to teaching Lindsey also judges USA and CADTD dance competitions throughout Southern California. Lindsey has recently completed her Masters in Education and her single subject teaching credential in the area of dance.
