Linda Zambrano
Linda began to enjoy the art of dance when she took her first
modern dance class in high school. From there, dance became
her passion as she studied at Palomar College and Moorpark
College in their dance programs. She received recognition
at both schools, including Dancer of the Year 1985 at
Palomar for her dancing and choreography. Since then she
has danced with a variety of local companies, which include
being a principal dancer for Aguilar Dance Ensemble and
a dancer and choreographer for the All For Fun Dancers.
Linda was also a guest performer for San Diego Jazz Unlimited
Dance Company in their 1985 production of the Jazz Nutcracker,
with her primary role as the Chinese Princess. In 1990,
along with Faith Jensen-Ismay and Mary Neuru, Linda founded
Mojalet Dance Collective in San Diego. She has taught
a wide variety of classes for over twenty years, including
ballet, jazz, modern and lyrical to students ranging from
preschoolers to adults. Whether Linda is performing or
teaching, she feels that it’s not so much about
the steps, it’s about the experience. Linda has
enjoyed calling Temecula her home for the past eighteen
years. She and her husband, Keith, are having a
great time raising their two high school age boys.
