Katie Morel

Katie has trained in all types of dance since the age of three. She competed in tap and jazz for 10 years winning numerous awards in group, duo, and trio dances. Katie loves working with TDC’s youngest dancers. She currently teaches competition teams for dancers ages three to thirteen, as well as several levels in tap.  Her petite tap groups won overall awards at several competitions this year. Katie is instrumental in the organization and scheduling of the shows. Katie loves children and volunteers at a homeless shelter, an after school program teaching crafts, and leading a mentor program for teens. Katie received her Teaching Credential from Concordia University in Irvine and is currently a first grade teacher in Anaheim. She currently is pursuing her Masters Degree in Education.
